Buddy is a 6-year-old Golden Retriever mix who developed a severe skin and ear infection on the left side of his face. The wound did not respond to three-and-a-half weeks of traditional therapy including topical cleaning, antibiotics, and anti-inflammatories.

This is what it looked like when we started, very inflamed and raw. The crusty surface is dried pus and discharge, yuck!

Day 1 of treatment, first laser treatment. All cleaned up!

Day 7 of treatment, fourth laser treatment. Still inflamed, but the wound is drying out and improving.

Day 9 of treatment, fifth laser treatment. The skin is no longer inflamed, the last of the crusting is falling off.

One month after starting, two weeks after last laser treatment. The area is fully healed and hair is growing back.

This is how Buddy looks 9 months later, back to his handsome self!
